Tattoo washing is also called removing tattoos, which is to remove the original patterns on the body through certain technical means. With the rapid development of science and technology, there are many ways to wash tattoos, such as the freezing method to remove the pigment, the magic needle transfer method, and the high Frequency electronic watch needle washing tattoo, traditional Chinese medicine washing tattoo, laser tattoo washing, etc. The commonly used method is laser tattoo washing.
Human skin is divided into a superficial epidermis layer and a lower dermis layer. The epidermis layer can be renewed and peeled off quickly, while the dermis layer does not. The pigments used in tattoos are generally implanted in the dermis, so they are permanent and cannot disappear on their own. Therefore, removing tattoos is not a very easy task.
Common methods for removing tattoos are:
1.Laser therapy
The laser is applied to the affected area to smash the pigment particles into tiny fragments, which are discharged through skin scabs, or blood circulation and cell phagocytosis to complete the pigment metabolism. This method does not damage the rest of the skin tissue, and does not leave scars after the operation. It is the first choice for the treatment of tattoos, but the cost is slightly more expensive.
2.Chemical corrosion
It is the use of a dilute weak acid solution to cause superficial burns on the skin and cause the pigment to fall off along with the necrotic tissue.
3.Skin abrasion
It uses a special high-speed rotating grinding wheel to remove the superficial layer of the skin to achieve the purpose of removing the pigment.
4.Surgical resection
For deeper tattoo patterns, the above methods are often ineffective, and only surgical resection and suture can be considered, but scars may be left. When using laser, chemical etching, and grinding methods, each treatment should not be too deep. If the cleaning is not clean once, it can be carried out a second time. There should be an interval of 1-3 months between each treatment. If the area is not too deep each time, scars will not usually be left.
