Prevent infection after tattooing. It takes at least a few hours before the skin closes the pores pierced when the color is injected. It is necessary to take some anti-inflammatory drugs after tattooing, which can prevent the invasion of germs. During the tattoo process, you have enough time to tell the customer how they should treat the tattoo maintenance. After that, give them an instruction for maintenance during the recovery process. This is a very important step. After a beautiful tattoo design is completed, how it looks in the future depends on the maintenance of the restoration process.
After completion, the entire tattoo area should be cleaned with sterile water and paper towels, and a paper towel should be covered on it. Lightly press the paper towel with your hand, pressing it for a few seconds before wiping it (warning: this process will cause pain and movement of the customer, so you have to hold the customer with your free hand). The area you want to rub is larger than the actual tattoo area, which will create a clean place to stick the bandage.
The next step is to lightly press on the tattoo with petroleum jelly. The new tattoo will become hot under the action of the medicine, and it will feel very hot when applied. It is recommended that customers wipe it with cold water several times a day in the first two days, and apply clean petroleum jelly after bathing to maintain lubrication, so as to avoid scabs and cause the color to fall off.
Some people use Bacillus subtilis antibiotics (a triple antibiotic ointment) on new tattoos. However, some people are allergic to this antibiotic, so they should be avoided as much as possible. If your store is very clean and uses strict disinfection equipment, no customers should be infected. Once infected, they should be advised to see a doctor.
Tattoo Bandages
Many people use different materials as bandages. Some people use non-sticky bandages. For large tattoos, plastic wrap works well, and they won't dry out the tattoo.
The disadvantage of using gauze is that when the gauze is removed, the gauze will condense on the scar. When it is pulled off, the tattoo will bleed and weaken the color of the pattern. The plastic wrap only moves on the tattoo and does not condense on the scar.
When you wipe the tattoo and wipe out a large enough area to stick the tape, first cover the tattoo with petroleum jelly, then carefully pull out a long thin piece of plastic wrap and throw it aside (make sure to use a clean plastic wrap to Bandage). Tear a long thin piece large enough to cover the entire tattoo, and stick it firmly with medical tape.
