Many people even professional tattoo artists, will have secant lines that are too shallow, too thin, or blurred lines, which are the result of incorrect use of machines or tattooing methods.
1. Secant points:
(1) The hand should be steady, and the strength and speed should be uniform. The greater the strength, the slower the speed, and the darker the color; conversely, the lighter the color.
(2) The depth of the needle is 1MM-1.5MM, and must not exceed 2MM. It is usually stabbed in the head layer between the basal layer of the skin epidermis and the dermis.
(3) The needle should be kept as vertical as possible to the skin when the needle is placed, and the inclination must not exceed 20--30 degrees.
(4) The connection should be natural. When cutting a long line or moving your hand, you should lift the connection place gently, and it is best to see the needle tip. In this way, the connection will be natural, and there will be no double lines.
(5) When cutting the line, it should be done in the order from bottom to top, right to left, so that the pattern we transfer will not be flowered.
(6) Beginners should have confidence in themselves, and the needle should be placed cleanly and neatly when starting, otherwise there will be a point of pause.
(7) Try not to talk to guests when cutting the line.
2. The key points to pay attention to in several lines:
(1) Arc: Note that the lines should be smooth and the connection should be natural and smooth.
(2) Right-angle line: Pay attention to the place where the right-angle connection must be tight.
(3) Arc tip line: Be sure to lift the needle gently at the end, and the connection must be good.
(4) Arc-pointed round line: Do not stop the needle at the point where the sharp circle is made, and then stop the needle after smoothing it.
