When treating acne or acne marks and improving various skin problems, people generally choose some better medical and aesthetic methods. Microneedles and fractional lasers are two common methods that can be used to alleviate skin problems. Of course, whether it is a microneedle or a fractional laser, the treatment effect is relatively good. Of course, there are some differences between the two!

Both microneedle and fractional laser can treat various skin problems such as wrinkles, acne pits, and acne marks. For minor skin problems such as small acne marks, fractional lasers and microneedles can have a good therapeutic effect. For severe acne pits, we can consider using exfoliative fractional laser or microneedle treatment, but in contrast, microneedle treatment has less damage and faster recovery than exfoliative fractional laser.

The fractional laser method can only be used after the patient no longer has acne. There are mainly two types of exfoliative fractional laser and non-exfoliative fractional laser. Patients usually need to receive multiple treatments to achieve good results, and generally need to do a fractional laser once a month or at an interval of one month.

After applying epidermal anesthetics, the non-exfoliative fractional laser will not feel particularly painful, but this type of fractional laser can only effectively solve small skin problems such as large pores, acne marks, and flat warts. When performing exfoliative fractional lasers, even after applying epidermal anesthetics, you still feel very painful. This operation is suitable for mild acne pits, but it will cause relatively large damage to the skin, which takes more than one month. Time will recover.

Microneedling is suitable for a variety of skin problems. This method can stimulate the dermis to regenerate collagen, so that the damaged epidermis can re-grow. Compared with the fractional laser, the microneedle method is more suitable for sunken skin problems, because the microneedle method is to fill pits on the original basis. Moreover, the recovery time of microneedles is relatively short. It usually takes only three days for the skin to fade, and it only takes five days for normal skin care work.
