Tattoo pigments are classified according to different angles, but all classifications are relative. Different types of pigments will be mixed according to the tattoo artist’s personal habits and preferences in function and application. The pigments are the same as other tattoo equipment. All tools are for my use.
According to the function of the pigment:
Tattoo art pigments-for the purpose of art, religious beliefs, personality and other factors or to hide scars and birthmarks, a certain area of pattern engraving is performed on the skin.
Beauty repair pigments-in order to pursue the aesthetic visual effect of the human body, the beauty act of coloring the eyebrows, eyeliner, lips, areola and other parts.
According to the application characteristics of the pigment:
Secant color material-the color material used to cut the outline of the pattern on the skin, mostly black color material.
Fogging pigments--the pigments used to color the patterns, all kinds of pigments are available.
According to the place where the color material is produced:
Imported pigments--As many modern tattoo techniques and ideas come from abroad, and the acceptance of tattoo art in foreign countries is generally higher than that in China, the market is more mature than domestic, and the pigments of some well-known brands are relatively safer and more assured.
Domestic pigments--the pigments configured by domestic merchants. Since there were relevant national standards and industry standards in China in 2012, the reliability of domestic pigments is much lower than that of foreign ones, but because the price is cheap (Germany The price of imported carbon black is 20 times that of domestic carbon black), so there are still consumers in the low-end market.
According to the color development principle of the pigment:
Ordinary colorant--Ordinary colorant that displays its own color under ordinary light. General pigments belong to this kind.
Fluorescent pigments-do not display colors under ordinary light, or display lighter colors, but are excited to produce obvious colors under fluorescence. Suitable for displaying tattoo art in bars and other places. Generally, it is not recommended to use, because the raw materials used in this kind of color materials are more harmful. However, it is said that some foreign pigments have adopted cutting-edge technology to wrap the fine particles of each pigment with a layer of safe substance to form a protective layer, which effectively prevents the side effects of the pigment itself on the human body. What needs to be emphasized here is that the traditional saying uses animal blood or cinnabar, white powder and other tattoos, which are usually invisible, and can only be revealed after drinking alcohol. This is very dangerous! There is no scientific basis!
Luminous pigments-generally used in temporary body painting pigments. If it is to be tattooed into the skin, its safety needs to be certified. It is generally believed that the toxic and side effects of this colorant are higher than ordinary colorants.
