If you want to become a real and good tattoo artist, if you want to keep going in the tattoo industry, you need to have art skills. The main reasons are as follows:
1. Most of the famous tattoo artists have artistic skills
Therefore, if your goal is to become a first-line tattoo artist in China, then you have a background in art, which can help you to have a higher level of attainment. You can create something different based on your own understanding of tattoos and combined with painting. Have your own style of tattoo work.
2. Related to the development prospects of the industry
No matter what industry it is, it is all about the survival of the fittest, and in recent years, with the development of the tattoo industry and the continuous improvement of people's aesthetic requirements for tattoos, more and more students graduated from professional art academies have entered the tattoo industry. , Therefore, the competition in the tattoo artist industry has become more and more fierce, so there are some art skills that can help you develop a good aesthetic and color matching, which will be more competitive than those who only only tattoo.
The process of tattooing is also the process of painting on the skin, but tattooing is not the same as painting. In addition to designing tattoo patterns, the tattoo itself also needs to master the operation technology of the tattoo itself, and the operation technology of the tattoo itself, through continuous Practice can generally be mastered, so it is possible to learn tattoos without art foundation.
For example, at present, many tattoo artists in professional tattoo shops in China have no art foundation when they first learn to tattoo, but under the premise of mastering tattoo techniques, they can also cultivate some artistic literacy through continuous practice and copying.
Therefore, to sum up, you can learn tattooing without an art foundation, but in order to move forward steadily in the increasingly competitive tattoo industry, you still need to cultivate some art literacy. It can help you go higher and farther in the tattoo industry.
